Tulsi Gabbard Leaves Democratic Party – Further Realizing Our Broken Political System

In Brief

  • The Facts:
    • Tulsi Gabbard has announced she is leaving the Democratic party in the United States and has asked others to join her.

    • Gabbard feels she can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism.

  • Reflect On:
    • Is it time for us to question why we put so much faith and trust in our institutions?

    • Not to pose this as an 'extremist view', but are these systems truly serving us like we think?

    • Can you see and feel the amount of people that are beginning to see through our institutions? How do you feel about this?

Breaking The Illusion is coming to terms with the fact that our existing systems are not what we think they are. That what we believe about them is typically gleaned from years of propaganda and stories that act as wool pulled over our eyes so we cannot see or question the truth of what they are.

This Breaking the Illusion, as I often put it, is happening more and more everyday.

Former Democrat and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard has announced that she is quitting the Democratic party in the US. She posted a video on her YouTube channel explaining her decision stating the following:

Stop the corporate media takeover: Big Tech censors and demonetizes independent media. We stay in the game because of YOU. Donate to help our work stay free. Click here to Donate.

I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms, are hostile to people of faith & spirituality, demonize the police & protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, dragging us ever closer to nuclear war.

I believe in a government that is of, by, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite. I’m calling on my fellow common sense independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me.

Tulsi Gabbard

Gabbard is not hopping over to the Republican side. And although some on the left might claim Gabbard is a Republican in her views, this claim acts more as a pejorative against her, it does not resemble an accurate picture of Gabbard’s views.

There have been many journalists, commentators and every day citizens pointing this out about political parties for decades, all while being gas lit and called ‘extremists’ or ‘conspiracy theorists’ by pop culture and media. Yet as time goes on, more and more ‘respected’ and popular figures are coming to these realizations, signalling a wider collective awakening of sorts.

To be clear, Gabbard has always opposed the US’ involvement in and funding of foreign conflicts. She has also been someone who has long seen how establishment politicians will use race based propaganda in an attempt to point blame for problems that usually have a different cause. This helps powerful figures distract the public from recognizing the true core of where our problems arise: the foundational structures of market economics and politics as they function today.

Some may not agree with the way Gabbard painted the Democratic party but her views are certainly nothing new. In the 15 years I have been a social analyst and writer, it has been easy to point to the equivalent nature of Democrats and Republicans, at the systemic level, in the US.

When two parties are seemingly controlled by the same unelected individuals every year, not much changes when you vote for one or the other at the Federal level. In this sense the United States functions as an oligarchy, not a democracy. The elite few at ‘the top’ are in charge of all the decision making, and the dance between ‘Republican and Democrat’ seems more like theatre than anything else.

The good news is more and more people are beginning to realize this fact every day. During the 2020 election campaign Gabbard was often up against the Democratic party during debates and media appearances, as it was clear she didn’t align with party ideologies. Hillary Clinton even made evidence-less accusations that Gabbard was “a Russian asset,” likely due to the fact that Gabbard gave praise for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s fight against terrorism in Syria.

After all, nuance is not allowed today. One can’t like something ‘good’ someone has done if that same person has done something ‘bad’ – nope, not in today’s ‘polite society.’

Gabbard responded by calling Clinton the “personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party,” and sued the former secretary of state for defamation.

Marianne Williamson also had a useful awakening during her 2020 election campaign when she realized the Democratic party was more corrupt than she had first thought. She was of course referring to the way the party will stack up against non establishment figures, shut down debate, and the way media will twist stories against people. Williamson was referring to a wider net of corruption that all feeds into the way politics functions. It involves Big Money, Big Media and Big Tech.

When these politicians and popular figures begin to see the system they are in more clearly, and speak up about it, it certainly gives the wider citizenry a chance to reflect upon these realizations as well. A necessary piece in the puzzle of coming up with solutions to what is a deeply broken society we currently live within.

What Gabbard pointed out in her farewell video points to attempts by powerful political figures, and the media they influence, to divide and confuse the public on issues those same forces convince the public are the most important things they should be focused on. Of course, the more divided a citizenry is, the more they are able to be pushed and pulled in different directions while those ‘unelected individuals’ continue stacking the deck in their favor.

In my view what must continue to expand and grow is grass roots discussion around a clear understanding of the problems that exist in our society today. Problems that stop us from creating a thriving society. With that, an ongoing conversation around societal design, solutions and worldviews that will drive a ‘new world’ forward are necessary. This is precisely what we will be continuing to do with Collective Evolution and upcoming projects.
